What to Wear
The Emperor's Ball is black tie for the men and formal attire for the women. Most women wear long dresses, although beautiful shorter dresses are also worn.
Period costume is welcomed, as it showcases the beauty of Viennese Balls from years ago. Period costumes include ball gowns from the Victorian era for the women, and a tuxedo with tails for the men. White gloves for both men and women were customary.
