Purpose of The Emperor's Ball

1). Benefit for Saint Paul City Ballet

The Emperor's Ball will benefit the Saint Paul City Ballet. The Ballet believes in delighting audiences and making dance accessible to all. The money raised will provide scholarships for training and performance opportunities making ballet accessible to those who normally could not participate, either as a performer or a guest at an event. Please see our Sponsorship Opportunities section of the website to help us achieve our goal of making art accessible to all.

Contributions are most welcome.

2). Foster Understanding of the Germanic People and Their Culture

The Emperor's Ball will bring to the City of Saint Paul a culturally authentic celebration of the Germanic people. The Ball is patterned after those that took place in 1883 at the castle of the Emperor and his wife, Empress Elisabeth, known as Sisi to her family. Our Emperor's Ball takes place at the historic Landmark Center. This is a most appropriate setting to capture the charm and beauty of Old Vienna.

3). Celebrate Saint Paul

The Emperor's Ball offers an engaging forum by which to enjoy the arts and culture of Saint Paul. These celebrations of who we are as people have always been treasured. We invite you to share in the joy found in the performances and exhibitions featured at The Emperor's Ball. This event represents some of the very best Saint Paul has to offer, yet only skims the surface of all that can be found in our favorite city.
